Art Therapist

Chrysoula Plakioti is an Art Therapist based in Athens, Greece and Milan, Italy. She received a BA in History of Art from Athens School of Fine Arts (2013) and a MA in Art Therapy from Brera Accademy of Fine Arts (2016). She has an extensive experience including contributing in Art Therapy workshops at Psychiatric Clinics in Milan (2014-2015). In 2015 she participated as an artist in “Vino Veritas” Performance Art group show presented by Atelier Torre Fornello in Piacenza and by Mediterranea 17 Young Artist Biennal’s side project Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan. In 2016 she coordinated the “Beyond Those Lines/Oltre quelle linee” Art Therapy project at the Hospital of Korydallos Prison in Athens. The artworks produced by the Korydallos Prison art therapy group were showcased at Art Athina, International Contemporary Art Fair in Athens. She currently works as an art therapist developing workshops for refugee groups in Attica, GR in collaboration with AMAKA Non Profit Organization.
