(SEP-211015169), a European artistic program under Creative Europe, in collaboration with CEFA ETS (Italy), CEFA TUNISIE (Tunisia), and the cultural organization CCAB (Tunisia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aims to enhance theatrical creation and intercultural collaboration among European and Mediterranean countries, fostering discussions on gender-based discrimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The core <strong>objectives <\/strong>of the program include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthening the theatrical skills of artists from the Euro-Mediterranean region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting international collaboration and cultural exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raising public awareness of gender-based discrimination through artistic expression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Outcomes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enhancing theatrical skills:<\/strong> Artists from the Euro-Mediterranean region will participate in intensive workshops in Greece, developing new theatrical techniques and deepening their understanding of gender-based discrimination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>International collaboration and cultural exchange:<\/strong> Artists from diverse cultural backgrounds will work together, fostering understanding and solidarity among the societies of the region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Public awareness on gender-based discrimination:<\/strong> The program encourages discussions on gender issues through participatory activities and theatrical performances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Artistic residency and performances:<\/strong> The project includes a five-day artistic residency in Athens, followed by the creation of a theatrical performance and the organization of two performances in each participating country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Creation and presentation of &#8220;Street Harmony&#8221;:<\/strong> Each participating country will develop a theatrical performance that highlights local experiences of gender-based discrimination, with touring performances that stimulate public debate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dissemination and communication:<\/strong> The project will engage with <strong>international <\/strong>festivals and cultural networks, ensuring broad outreach and the promotion of discussions on gender discrimination.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The project started in February 2025 and will run for two years.<br>It is funded by Creative Europe, the European Union\u2019s funding program for the cultural and creative sectors, under the CREA-CULT-2024-COOP call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"120\" src=\"https:\/\/www.amaka.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/street-harmony-logos-upd.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4084\" style=\"object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.amaka.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/street-harmony-logos-upd.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.amaka.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/street-harmony-logos-upd-300x51.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.amaka.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/street-harmony-logos-upd-200x34.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AMAKA is participating in the &#8220;Street Harmony: Theater Dynamics to Foster Intercultural Dialogue and Address Gender-Based Discriminations in the EURO-MED Area&#8221;
